Rolling Out the Gentlemen Feature Today

  1.     Gentlemen status can be promoted by other Gentlemen to trusted clients.
  2.     Gentlemen status can be promoted by Verified Providers and Agencies.
  3.     Only Gentlemen will be able to leave reviews or comments on provider profiles
  4.     Helps reduce bad reviews by allowing only vouched clients to post on profiles.
  5.     Not perfect, but it builds trust and rewards good clients.

You can promote other users in your control panel. Or revoke status.

At the bottom of each profile, you'll now see who granted the promotion.
Until now, all promotions were done by MenzLife, but moving forward, the actual user who upgraded the status will be displayed.

The Gentlemen feature has both advantages and potential downsides. On the positive side, it allows Verified Providers and Agencies to vouch for their trusted clients, ensuring that only reputable users can leave comments. This helps create a trusted review system, reducing fake or malicious reviews while rewarding good clients with recognition. However, there’s also the risk of manipulation, where a provider could create multiple fake accounts and promote them to Gentlemen status to boost their own profile. That said, patterns of abuse—such as all reviewers being promoted by the same provider—could raise red flags and be scrutinized. Additionally, since Gentlemen can also promote others, there’s a potential for gatekeeping or favoritism, but this also encourages networking among respected users. Ultimately, while no system is perfect, this approach shifts credibility toward established and vouched-for members, making it harder for bad actors to influence the platform.
