Why is it that being a sugar baby seems to carry much more social acceptance for women compared to being an escort?

It's evident that being a sugar baby is generally seen as much more socially acceptable by both men and women compared to being an escort.

I totally agree with that too, and I think there are several reasons behind it. However, I thought it would make for an interesting discussion.
