I thought I’d start a discussion thread where we can talk about the trends and changes you've observed in Vancouver's escort industry in 2025. What have you noticed so far?

Some things i've noticed:

-Over the past month or two on Tryst, I've noticed a small influx in what seem to be new providers charging around the (slightly) more reasonable rate of $500 an hour. However, I haven't seen any of them personally, so I'm unsure about their legitimacy or if they are any good or worthwhile.Hopefully, this suggests that rates are beginning to slowly decrease, as it makes sense given that demand for anything above $550 an hour isn't strong enough.

-I've also noticed a few of the "higher rate" providers quietly reducing their hourly rates by $100 to $200.

-I've also noticed that some providers who previously only offered minimum one-hour appointments are now beginning to offer 30-minute appointments.

Leolist appears to have cleaned up a bit of it's shit show scam fest. There are much less verified users now. I'm not sure what they changed. 

However, Leolist has turned into Onlyfans list in the last couple years, that is the biggest trend I see there on that scammy website.

I've noticed a few women on Tryst also start offering massage services in addition to their regular offerings.

On the opposite end I've noticed a few indie providers are raising/have raised their rates from ~500 to ~600 (Charlee Beckett, Sydney Lee, Kimpeccable, Sierra Wilde)

It will be interesting to see if reduced demand forces them to put it back down.

I don't want to be unnecessarily mean, but who is spending $500-$600 to sleep with any of those women? I wouldn't for free. 

Staying on topic, what’s strange about that is that Charlee has frequently complained on X over the past 6-12 months about slow business and not receiving many bookings and how she and other providers are struggling because of this. 
So why would one increase rates if business is slow? That might be the dumbest possible business decision one can make.

Because if a guy is a 1 or a 2 , having sex with a girl who is a 3 or a 4 is still punching above his weight. I get what you mean though, theres much more attractive woman in the $500-600 range. 

Why would they raise their rates during a slow business and economic period? Irrational thinking. Most of these women aren't particularly financially or economically literate, so expecting them to navigate the market like savvy, rational actors is unrealistic. I believe most of them raise their rates impulsively or out of boredom, without considering what’s best for their business or what is truly profitable.

Personally, I would appreciate it if more providers began offering massage services that include a happy ending. Given they do it the right way.

I'm not sure about others, but I believe that when done properly, a massage with a happy ending can be just as intimate as full-service, offering a unique sense of relaxation and excitement that sets it apart from full service.

I believe this is a significantly underserved market and service, and I think it could become very popular if more providers began offering it as an alternative to their full service options.

Its a subversive marketing tactic born from insecurity and scammer tendencies.

When they follow the approach you described, often referred to as "a la carte" pricing, the idea is that when you see their profile on the grid view, whether on Tryst, Leolist, or elsewhere, you see the lower base price (excluding all the extras), making it more likely that you'll click on their profile. 

Some even go as far as hoping you won't notice and will simply perform the additional services when in person, only to try to charge you more afterward. I admit that's uncommon, but it does happen from time to time.

Alot more of this. Inclusive rate GFE used to be it with menu upgrades like Greek. Half providers are GFE the other half upcharge everything. I personally don't care for all the up charging. Make it all inclusive GFE PSE

Check their Twitter also. You see who they're reposting and vise versa. Some even re-tweet out of province ladies who tour here. You know not to see them or the out of province touring ladies that "collab" on twitter together.

trend: more indies creating a GFE and then a "Spicier" option at a premium whereas before all acronyms were included under one rate. IMO on net probably good business for the SP but bad for the client, although I guess it does create more transparency about what services are included, rather than leaving clients guessing, especially in an indy landscape that’s been steadily shifting toward a more limited, 'safe GFE' type of service as the default (another sad trend for us clients).

This trend has been ongoing for several years now, but nearly all the indies advertising on Tryst are women in their 30s or older. Even those advertised as being in their "20s" are predominantly in their 30s. There aren't many young indies at all anymore. Which makes the high rates even more ridiculous.
