PERB SHUT DOWN??

Just curious if anyone has noticed that perb is not up and running right now.

Its in on and off. It was working fine earlier and now I see its again down.

Perb runs on XenForo, which is proprietary software. If you check with AI, XenForo’s had some bad exploits. The latest update was January 30, 2025. Perb was up and running earlier today and nobody posted anything about it being down or why it died yesterday. Probably not a hack — most likely their hosting company is at fault.

Menz uses MyBB, an open-source platform that’s been around for 25 years. I think open-source safer since anyone can see the code and spot exploits faster. Menz got updated on June 2, 2025. The update accidentally over wrote my custom code.

No one asked why Perb was down? Thats because most of the commentors on there are all mods themselves lol
