We used to be able to post images in our comments, any chance we can get that feature back?

Yes, you can post images. Just drag and drop to the attachments or click the attachments section. 

We get DMCA take down requests if you post images from SPs Tryst or websites. So if you want to post SP image use the link image button and link from other sites.
