We represent a collective of women who have been repeatedly targeted with discriminatory remarks, harassment, and defamation on your website, Menz.life.

The attached draft document, “Menz Forum – Evidence of Discrimination, Harassment & Defamation (Selected Recent Quotes)”, contains a small sample of recent quotes from the site. These examples are not exhaustive. They represent only a fraction of the discriminatory, abusive, and defamatory content currently visible on the platform. In addition, several of our personal addresses were exposed on the site. Although they have since been removed from the public section, it is possible that this type of information remains accessible in the private version of the site, posing an ongoing threat to safety and privacy. We therefore demand confirmation that all such personal information has been permanently deleted from both the public and private sections of the site, and that measures are in place to prevent any future disclosure of personal addresses.

The content identified in the attached draft clearly demonstrates violations of the Canadian Human Rights Act, Section 3, which prohibits discrimination based on sex, as well as the Criminal Code of Canada, Section 264, which prohibits harassment. It also amounts to defamation under Canadian law, consisting of false claims that directly harm reputations. Hosting such content also risks breaching Icelandic law, including the Act on Equal Status and Equal Rights of Women and Men No. 10/2008, which prohibits gender-based discrimination and harassment. Beyond domestic law, Article 12 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights affirms the right to privacy, honour, and reputation, and this right is being violated through your platform.

We demand the immediate and permanent removal of all discriminatory, harassing, and defamatory content from Menz.life, not only the examples cited in the attached draft. We further expect the site administrators and hosting provider to take effective measures to prevent the publication of similar unlawful content in the future, and to address the conduct of users who have engaged in such abusive activity.

If these demands are not met within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt of this notice, we will have no choice but to escalate. We are prepared to file complaints with Canadian and international law enforcement authorities, initiate legal proceedings for defamation and discrimination, and pursue remedies for harassment where applicable. We will hold the site operators, the hosting provider, the registrar, and the users who have engaged in unlawful conduct accountable under applicable Canadian, Icelandic, and international law.

Written confirmation of compliance must also be provided to us within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt of this notice.
